Energizer (Die Formed Body) (Formerly Hi-Intensity)
Needle bearing fulcrum and roller tip reduces friction, lowers engine oil temperature, improves response, increases HP and RPM. Aerospace vacuum die-formed aluminum main body offers extreme strength and light weight. Great for street and moderate race use.
Die-formed aluminum body is larger than stock, may require modifications to stock valve covers for clearance. Cannot be used with late Chevy 90? V-6 and small-block V-8 "Center Bolt" valve covers. Will not fit 90? V-6 or small-block V-8 self-aligning 88-99 heads.

Gold Race (Extruded Body)
Made from heat treated, extruded aluminum billet bar stock for ultimate strength. Needle bearing fulcrum and roller tip for maximum friction reduction. Improves response, increases HP and RPM, lowers oil temp. For most 4, 6 and 8 cylinder domestic engines. Different ratios, pushrod seat offsets and stud sizes available.
Usually requires screw-in studs or rocker stud conversion kit on heads. May require modification of stock valve covers for clearance. Will not fit Chevy 90? V-6 or small-block Chevy V-8, 88-99 self-aligning heads. |
Dual Valve Springs
Crane Cams Dual valve springs are available for hydraulic, mechanical (?flat tappet?) and roller lifter camshafts, for street performance and all-out competition. Various designs are offered including dual, dual with flat dampers, different O.D. dimensions, with varying seat pressures and closed heights.
Crane Dual valve springs are selectively magnaflux inspected and checked for tension. Many ?hard-core? springs are individually magnaflux inspected, tension matched and placed in sets.
C - Coated Valve Springs, to reduce friction and increase spring life.

Titanium Valve Spring Retainers
The lighter your valve train components, the quicker the engine will rev. Titanium retainers are 40% lighter than steel. All Crane titanium retainers are machined from certified American-made bar stock. Beware of the recent influx of inexpensive
"titanium" retainers. These are probably made of inferior imported material, and will not pass certification standards.
